Leanin’ Tree sells greeting cards that feature original artwork in various retail establishments nationwide. The company was looking to generate interest in their line of greeting cards with potential retailers and approached DMX with the task of executing monthly mailers. Leanin’ Tree was also in need of management of their prospect database in order to maximize the results of the mailings.
With the design of the mail piece already established by Leanin’ Tree, DMX’s primary goal was to analyze and organize the database in a manner that maintained the relevant information for the prospects and would allow for ease of interpretation each month. In addition, DMX planned the ideal method to implement and administer the mailing of the programs.
The prospect mailing consists of two versions, one mailer is a non-personalized envelope package containing greeting card samples, and the other piece is a highly personalized self-mailer. The copy of the self-mailer contains highly customized data, including the prospects’ name, location and business name. There are many variable placements within the self-mailer piece and DMX must keep an acute eye to the piece at all times. The arrangement of organized and targeted data, customized mail pieces and quality control ensure that Leanin’ Tree delivers a premium message to the right people every month.
